Service Call Refund Policy

At Smart Solution Appliances, we stand behind our work with a 90-day parts and labor warranty on all completed repairs. Our refund and cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent.

Diagnostic / Service Call Fee ($95)

A $95 service call fee covers the technician’s visit, diagnosis, and repair estimate. This fee is waived in full if you approve the repair and we complete it on the same visit.

  • The $95 fee is non-refundable once a technician has traveled to your location and performed the diagnosis, regardless of whether you proceed with the repair.
  • If we are unable to diagnose the issue, the service call fee will be fully waived.
  • If you cancel an appointment less than 2 hours before the scheduled window, the $95 fee still applies.

Completed Repairs – 90-Day Warranty

All parts and labor are covered by our 90-day warranty. If the same issue recurs within 90 days of the original repair, we will return and fix it at no additional charge.

  • The warranty covers the specific component repaired and the related labor.
  • Warranty is void if the appliance has been serviced by a third party after our repair.
  • Physical damage, misuse, or power surges are not covered under this warranty.

Parts Refunds

Parts ordered specifically for your repair may be returned within 30 days if unused and in original condition. Special-order or non-stock parts are non-refundable once ordered.

Shop / Online Parts Orders

Parts purchased through our online store can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, provided they are unused and in original packaging. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless the item arrived defective or incorrect.

Disputes

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of a refund request, you may contact the California Bureau of Household Goods and Services (BHGS) or file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). We are committed to resolving all issues professionally and promptly.
